In case you haven’t heard, we are starting DT groups this semester.

DT groups will be led by staff (not necessarily by our own k-group) and this will be a great way to hear other’s insights, get to know one another at a deeper, spiritual level, and learn how to do DT.

Gracepoint Training School

Gracepoint training school starts this week.  We will be offering a wide range of helpful classes and exciting bible studies.  Please sign up at www.acts2fellowship.org by Wednesday.  If you are new, feel free to just show up!  a2f blue will have a dinner together starting at 6pm at First Pres.

This will be followed by preparation for Valentines day of compassion.

Day: Friday Feb 13
Time: Dinner starting at 6pm.  GTS at 7pm.

Valentines Day of Compassion

In our culture today, Valentines day is often filled with ideas of romantic love, flowers and chocolates.  This day was actually named after St. Valentine, a Roman bishop who was martyred for refusing to deny Christ before the emperor. He was known for doing acts of compassion.  Here at A2F Gold, we hope to reclaim the spirit of Christian compassion and service during Valentine’s Day, and visit a local shelters and care centers.

Hi all,

With our Fall semester fast approaching, I wanted to give everyone a heads up on several main events that are happening in the coming month. This way, you all can plan your calendars and schedules accordingly, and also sign-up on time or even in advance for some of the events coming up.

This coming weekend:

Saturday- 9 am – 4pm: The staff are having their monthly prayer retreat/reflection time at Northloop. All students are welcome to join us.

4 pm-6 pm: We will have dinner together at Northloop, followed by Church Cleaning.

Sunday: Sunday Worship Service will be at Pauley Ballroom at 1:15 pm.

Next week:

Friday: all acts2fellowship Bible Study. Location TBA

Sunday: Sunday Worship Service will be at Pauley Ballroom at 1:15 pm.

There will be a College Student Rally following Service to prepare for the Fall Semester.

Friday: no more Summer IM’s, although be sure to get a T-shirt. I just saw the design on Jammy’s computer and it is something you would be proud to wear. Bible Study will be COLLEGE WIDE at Northloop, followed by your choice of games or watching the Olympics.

Saturday and Sunday: Cal Connect is happening! Steve, Eunice, a bunch of our sophomores, and even some a2f alumni will be going down to Southern California to host 2 sessions to welcome, connect, and chat with incoming Berkeley freshmen. Be sure to tell your friends to sign-up!

It’s August already..can you believe it? 2 more weeks and we’re on our way to another school year.

So, for this week we have the following:

-Summer Evangelical Training has ended, so we will be going back to our Prayer Meeting format. Prayer Meeting will be at 1st Pres, starting at 7:00 PM, NOT 6:30 pm.

-This Friday we will continue to have our Summer IM’s followed by Bible Study.

-The site for New Student Welcome Night(s) 2008 is up! All 3 college fellowships of Gracepoint Fellowship Church, Berkeley will be hosting the nights on August 27 and 29. Check out the link and be sure to hype it to your friends!
